Academic Journey
This editorial focuses on the growth and overall journey of a fictional character’s academic career, affording the viewer a serious and linear narrative through three acts, High school, Community College, and University. Full size 10” x 16”.
Front and back cover of editorial. First half of the editorial starts with a monochromatic color palette, transitioning to color in the second half.
Consistent use of large imagery and typography, along with the monochromatic color palette, sets the overall theme for Act I.
The design for the first act reflects the emotions, and thoughts of the character during these years.
Color starts being introduced to show the progress in attitude, overall state of mind.
By the end of Act II, the narrative starts shifting in mood, introducing even more color in the beginning of Act III.
